Photograph Catalog:

To catalog each of the negatives into a visual database, the
following numbering system was used to identify each photo by
Location/Genre, Photo Series, and Photo Number.  Each photo
can have up to four letters/numbers in its catalog identification.  

For Example:  11B3 is a photo of the bridge in Central Park.
11 denotes destination New York
   B is the bridge in Central Park
      3 is the 3rd photo of the bridge.

The FIRST TWO characters follows the table below and
identifies the category or location of the photo.
The
THIRD character is the the photo Series (A, B, C..).  
The
FOURTH character is the photo number (1, 2, 3..) which
denotes photographs of the same subject.

04 The Carribean (Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Florida..)
05 Illinois
11 New York

People and their Pets
P1 Maurice & Madison

S1 National Monuments
S2 Places of Character
S3 Buildings of Character
S4 Churches, Cathedrals, Places of Worship
S5 Hotels
S6 Public Structures (Courthouses, Libraries, etc.)
S7 Monuments, Landmarks, Bridges

Numbers which are reserved or skipped will be filled in as the
database is expanded.  Please use the number on the
photograph when corresponding with MartinFriedman.
